Brazil’s National Council of Justice ruled that same-sex partners shouldn’t be denied marriage licenses in 2013, permitting marriages that are same-sex start in the united states.

Ahead of the legislation, just a number of Brazil’s 27 jurisdictions had permitted marriage that is same-sex.
